Bringing this vintage sifter back to life with WD-40

This old flour sifter had completely seized up — the handle wouldn’t turn and the internal mechanism was clogged with grime and buildup.

After examining the condition of the sifter and how seized it was, I applied WD-40 multi use to the hinges and joints

I also gave the sifter a good clean with WD-40 citrus

After buffing with a cloth and testing the sifting mechanism I could see everything was back in good working condition ready for a new life.
I love bringing these old pieces back to life instead of throwing them away.
