patrol entire rebuild of plus m57 conversion š

Hey guys hope allās good up there. Itās bloody cold down here in Tassie. Anyway, as the title says and you can see in the video doing a full tear down of a patrol straight back to bare cab bare chassis, sand blasting it all and painting it making it look nice and spicy fresh ready for an m57n2 to be dropped in to make all the powers and torques. being a 25 year old car the tear down process involved a lot of rusty bolts that wanted to strip the thread. Wd40 was a life saver to be able to get in there and penetrate the rust and undo it especially on the body mounts and the chassis bolts. I reckon I probably used 3 canās just pulling it down to now. And I still have a bmw to pull apart so iām sure itās going to come out again very very soon.
As you can see as well got a 4.8 patrol hanging around which is nearly ready to get a SPICY turboski slapped on her and I am definitely gonna be using wd40 left right and centre to be the exhaust off without snapping shit.
And the paint for the big project. Black raptor on the chassis and under body, havenāt decided what Iām going to do on the engine bay yet but the body itself is going to get an āAtlantis Blue Pearlā paint. Which is a bmw oem paint on the m4ās and such. (I encourage you to search it up so you can understand just how sick itās going to look). BMW colour in a bmw powered patrol seems like the right thing to do.
Anyway, thatās my project, definitely a fairly big undertaking on the shed floor getting the chassis out from underneath it, and weāve got an even longer way to go, couldnāt have done it without wd40 so free up the rust though there would have been a hell of a lot more swearing and cursing if that was the case.
Thanks to you guys for making a hectic product range to help with making life a hell of a lot easier as we pull apart our 25 year old rust buckets. š¤š»š¤š»
