Sticky to spotless with WD-40
Picked up my old iPod radio dock that was covered in stubborn sticky residue from old stickers and tape. It looked pretty rough and definitely not something you’d want to use in that condition.
Step 1: Spray and wipe
Used WD-40 Multi-Use multi use to break down the adhesive and gently wiped it away with a cloth. It lifted the residue without damaging the surface and brought it back to a clean, smooth finish.
Step 2: Buff with cloth and enjoy!
After giving the piece an initial wipe down I gave it a good buff and admired the finish. Such a simple fix, but a huge difference — now it actually looks like something worth keeping (and using again).
